Bronwyn Kirkpatrick began her shakuhachi journey with Grand Master Riley Lee in 1997, after completing a Bachelor of Music degree in clarinet performance. Captivated by the sound, Bronwyn has been immersed in the world of shakuhachi ever since. She has studied in Japan with Kaoru Kakizakai and Katsuya Yokoyama and
teaches shakuhachi in the Blue Mountains, Sydney and around the world via Skype.
